Staff Nurse – Job Description
Experience: 2–5+ Years
Qualification: GNM / B.Sc. Nursing
Location: No. 43, Lakshmi Talkies Road, Chennai - 600030
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate, and quality nursing care to patients.
- Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and perform nursing procedures as prescribed.
- Assist doctors during procedures and handle emergency situations effectively.
- Maintain accurate patient records, nursing documentation, and shift handovers.
- Follow infection-control, medication-safety, and patient-safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with hospital SOPs and NABH standards.
- Educate patients and attendants regarding care, treatment, and discharge instructions.
- Coordinate effectively with doctors and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Requirements
- GNM / B.Sc. Nursing with valid Nursing Council registration.
- 2–5+ years of relevant hospital experience.
- Multispecialty/NABH hospital experience preferred.
- Good communication, clinical skills, teamwork, and patient-care attitude.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts.
