Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, construction, and configuration of software applications. This role requires taking charge of the development process, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that the applications meet the required specifications. The position serves as the main liaison for project-related communications, overseeing progress and addressing challenges to deliver effective software solutions. The role demands a proactive approach to managing tasks and collaborating with different teams to achieve project goals efficiently and effectively.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the planning and execution of project deliverables while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure clarity and shared understanding.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Full-Stack Development — Proficiency in Java-based backend services and react.js front-end applications, with the ability to work across the entire stack while bringing deeper expertise in one area (either front-end or back-end).Modern Software Practices — Familiarity with RESTful API design, component-driven UI architecture, and collaborative development workflows including version control, code review, and CI/CD pipelines.
Nice to have :Workflow & Process Automation — Experience with Flowable (or similar BPMN/workflow engines) for designing and integrating business process workflows into applications.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Java Full Stack Development.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
The candidate is required to work out of the Client Office in Kharadi, Pune for 3 days per week, as per the mandate.
