Job Title: Android Developer (0-1 Year Experience)
Location: Ajanta Business Center, Bejai, Mangaluru (Development Center)
Salary: 2.4 LPA to 3 LPA
Overall purpose of the job:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Android Developer to join our growing tech team. You will contribute
directly to developing and maintaining our Android app, implementing new features, ensuring smooth
performance, and enhancing user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance Android applications using Kotlin/Java.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deploy new features.
- Integrate RESTful APIs using Retrofit and manage data synchronization.
- Utilize Room (SQLite) for local database management and data storage.
- Implement MVVM architecture to ensure clean and maintainable code.
- Ensure high performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and troubleshoot bugs and performance bottlenecks.
- Write clear, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
- Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in Android development.
Role:
- 0-1 year of experience in Android development.
- Strong understanding of Android SDK and Android Studio.
- Experience using Kotlin or Java programming languages.
- Hands-on experience with Room (SQLite), Retrofit, and MVVM architecture.
- Familiarity with Android Jetpack libraries (LiveData, ViewModel).
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON parsing, and offline data storage.
- Familiarity with version control (Git).
- Ability to debug and optimize application performance.
Plus Point
- Familiarity with Dependency Injection (Dagger/Hilt).
- Exposure to Jetpack Compose.
- Experience integrating third-party libraries and services.
- Basic understanding of continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD).
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Mangalore, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
