*Job Summary*
We are seeking a skilled and innovative Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Design & Engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving equipment and systems related to asphalt batching plants, concrete batching plants, and road construction equipment. The role involves concept development, 3D modeling, manufacturing drawing preparation, and coordination with cross-functional departments to ensure successful project execution.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Mechanical design, drafting, and 3D modeling of plant equipment and components.
* Perform design calculations and develop engineering concepts.
* Prepare detailed manufacturing drawings and Bill of Materials (BOM).
* Design plant layouts and equipment arrangements as per project requirements.
* Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Service, and Quality departments for smooth execution.
* Provide technical support during manufacturing and assembly activities.
* Identify design improvements and resolve engineering issues.
* Support new product development and product enhancement initiatives.
* Maintain design documentation, revisions, and engineering records.
* Ensure designs comply with applicable standards, safety requirements, and customer specifications.
*Required Skills*
* Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and engineering fundamentals.
* Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
* Good understanding of fabrication, manufacturing, machining, and assembly processes.
* Knowledge of GD&T, engineering tolerances, and material selection.
* Understanding of mechanical design standards and safety requirements.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
*Preferred Experience*
* Experience in asphalt batching plant or concrete batching plant design.
* Knowledge of road construction equipment design and development.
* Experience in designing plant structures, conveyors, bins, silos, tanks, and heavy fabrication equipment.
* Familiarity with design optimization and value engineering concepts.
* Experience in technical visualization and engineering documentation.
*Qualification*
* Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
* Experience
* 0–2 years of experience in mechanical design and engineering.
* Relevant experience in construction equipment, heavy fabrication, industrial machinery, or plant engineering will be preferred.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
