Role Definition
The senior Sales associate is responsible for the conversion of potential clients and persuading decision makers and purchase managers to be long-term customers of Metalco Extrusions Global LLP.
Responsibility Deliverable
· Convert Leads from the Marketing Team into potential long-term customers.
· Achieving Targets of specified tonnage along with Gross profits from existing and new customers.
· Training and developing the internal team to handle existing clients and converting potential new clients for the Team.
· Developing selling skills and increasing business knowledge in the industries allotted to upgrade to a business development executive.
Tasks & Activities
1. Convert Leads from the Marketing Team into potential long-term customers.
· Talking to leads given by the Telemarketing team and meeting the potential clients at their premises by documenting their needs and working towards their requirements.
· Meeting potential clients after exhibition at their premises, learning about their requirements and gaining in-depth knowledge on the product to offer the best possible solution.
· Analysing the yearly or quarterly requirements, exploring an opportunity to work towards a long-term schedule with customers
· Every day, filling out lead Trackers and sales trackers.
· Attending OPS meeting with Team Head and updating requirements (like stock requirements, credit queries, etc.), updating problems, and collectively discussing solutions.
· Credit analysis of each client and updating the Team Head.
2. Achieving Targets of specified tonnage along with Gross profits from existing and new customers.

3. Training and developing junior sales executives to handle existing clients and convert potential new clients for the Team.
· Sales executive has to make sure to train junior sales executive in terms of communication skills, product knowledge and industry knowledge.
· Junior sales executive has to be guided to enable a seamless customer experience, and to have regular customer visits and report to the business Head.
· To create reports on junior sales executive on their growth and review them weekly.
4. Developing selling skills and increasing business knowledge in the industries allotted to upgrade to a sales executive Head.
· Visiting customers, understanding their products, and asking them for value addition opportunities.
· Reading about industry domain, education on industry and products by researching through online, industry websites, portals, industrial directories, etc.
· New business development & Key account growth- Weightage 30 %
Large enterprises 1) – 20 cr and above – 1 potential client / annually
(Large enterprises 2) – 12 cr to 20 cr – 3 potential clients / annually
(large enterprises 3) – 6 cr to 12 cr – 3 potential clients / annually

Pay: ₹30,194.83 - ₹60,975.21 per month
