Job Title: ASM – OEM & Panel Builders
As an Area Sales Manager at Polycab, you will lead and drive industrial electrical solution sales across Karnataka, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh. You will manage a team of 5 TSIs and be responsible for expanding our OEM & Panel Builder segment by delivering value-driven technical solutions—not just products.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans across Karnataka, TG & AP to expand market share and achieve revenue targets.
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 5 TSIs. Monitor performance, guide them on-ground, and ensure achievement of individual and team targets.
Build strong relationships with key OEMs & Panel Builders. Understand their technical requirements and position Polycab as a preferred solution partner.
Ensure deep product knowledge across cables, accessories, and harnesses. Support the team in delivering technical presentations and customized solutions.
- Business Expansion & Cross-Selling:
Drive cross-selling of Dowells accessories & cable harness solutions to existing and new customers to maximize revenue opportunities.
Work closely with distributors and dealers to ensure smooth operations, stock availability, and adherence to company processes.
- Market Development & Networking:
Represent Polycab at industry forums, exhibitions, and association meetings to generate leads and strengthen brand presence.
Monitor sales metrics, analyze market trends, and implement corrective actions to improve performance across the region.
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering (EEE/ECE/EIE or relevant field)
8 to 15 years in electrical sales (Cables, Switchgear, Automation), with at least 1–2 years of team handling experience preferred. Exposure to industries like Automotive, Textile, Machine Tools, Automation, and Panel Builders is an advantage.
Proven ability to manage, motivate, and develop a sales team across multiple locations.
Strong ability to present technical solutions and influence decision-makers.
