Job Description :
Planning is responsible for leading production planning and material planning processes to ensure efficient manufacturing operations, optimal resource utilization, and timely fulfillment of customer orders. The role requires strong cross-functional coordination to align production, procurement, inventory, and dispatch activities with business objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
* Develop and drive monthly, weekly, and daily production plans based on sales forecasts, confirmed orders, and inventory levels.
* Ensure effective scheduling to maximize line capacity utilization and operational efficiency.
* Monitor plan vs actual performance and drive corrective actions with production teams.
* Coordinate closely with Sales, logistics, and Procurement teams to align production plans with demand forecasts.
* Oversee raw material and packaging material planning to ensure continuous production without stockouts.
* Evaluate production capacity, manpower availability, and machine utilization to support effective planning.
* Lead planning for new product launches and maintenance shutdowns.
* Develop planning dashboards and reports on production adherence, inventory levels, order fulfillment, and capacity utilization.
* Work closely with Production, Procurement, Stores, Quality, Logistics, and Sales to ensure seamless execution of the production plan.
* Resolve operational constraints affecting production and dispatch timelines.
* Drive initiatives to improve planning accuracy, lead time reduction, and operational efficiency.
* Support lean operations and productivity improvement initiatives within manufacturing.
* Other Duties as assigned.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
