A Multi-Skilled Technician is responsible for carrying out installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities across multiple technical disciplines such as electrical, HVAC, plumbing, civil, mechanical, and basic IT/network systems. The role requires strong problem-solving ability, preventive maintenance knowledge, and coordination with site teams to ensure smooth facility and equipment operations.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and civil systems.
Attend and resolve technical complaints and emergency maintenance issues at site.
Carry out routine inspection of equipment and utilities to ensure proper functioning.
Diagnose faults and perform corrective actions with minimal downtime.
Support installation, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
Maintain records of maintenance activities, service reports, and checklists.
Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams for technical works.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, PPE usage, and site regulations.
Monitor utility systems such as DG sets, UPS, lighting, air conditioning, and water systems.
Assist in inventory management for tools, spare parts, and consumables.
Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness of technical areas and equipment rooms.
Support minor fabrication, carpentry, painting, or civil repair works when required.
Required Skills
Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting.
Basic understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and testing instruments.
Reading and understanding technical drawings and layouts.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
Basic computer knowledge for reporting and documentation.
Educational Qualification
ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, HVAC, or related field.
Additional technical certifications are an advantage.
Experience
2–5 years of experience in facility maintenance, MEP works, or technical support roles.
Experience in commercial buildings, industrial sites, hospitals, data centers, or corporate facilities preferred.
Preferred Requirements
Knowledge of safety procedures and permit systems.
Experience in handling UPS, DG, fire alarm, access control, or networking systems is an added advantage.
Willingness to work shifts, weekends, or emergency call-outs if required.
Working Conditions
Site-based role involving fieldwork and equipment handling.
May require working at heights, confined spaces, or extended hours during emergencies/project handovers.
Pay: ₹15,577.31 - ₹35,000.00 per month
