Job Description
We are hiring a GIA Diamond Sales BDE responsible for handling domestic & international clients for certified diamonds. The role involves business development, client relationship management, inventory coordination, and achieving sales targets in the diamond industry.
Responsibilities
- Sell GIA certified polished diamonds (B2B/B2C)
- Source and procure diamonds from reliable suppliers
- Develop new clients in domestic & international markets
- Generate new leads through RapNet, online platforms, and market networking
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships
- Handle inquiries, pricing, negotiations, and deal closures
- Maintain strong knowledge of RapNet and diamond trading platforms
- Coordinate with export and logistics teams for smooth order execution
- Manage inventory levels and stock movement efficiently
- Monitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, and competitor activities
- Maintain accurate purchase, sales, and inventory records
- Support accounting-related coordination for invoices, payments, and reconciliations
- Prepare reports on sales performance, inventory status, and market trends
- Ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction
Job Specification
Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field
- GIA Certification preferred
Experience
- 2–6 Years of experience in diamond sales/business development
- Experience in international diamond trading preferred
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of GIA certified diamonds and 4Cs
- RapNet knowledge is mandatory
- Strong pricing knowledge & understanding of Rapaport pricing
- Basic accounting knowledge for billing and payment coordination
- Lead generation and business development skills
- Knowledge of diamond grading and market trends
- Understanding of import/export procedures and compliance
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and CRM software
