Charnock Lohia Hospital is looking for a dedicated and competent Resident Medical Officer (RMO) to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The ideal candidate should be capable of managing critically ill patients under the guidance of intensivists and consultants while ensuring high standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide round-the-clock medical care to critically ill ICU patients.
- Perform initial assessment, stabilization, and ongoing management of critically ill patients.
- Monitor patients' clinical status and promptly identify deterioration.
- Assist consultants and intensivists during patient rounds and implement treatment plans.
- Perform emergency procedures including CPR, airway management, arterial blood sampling, central venous catheter assistance, and other ICU procedures as required.
- Interpret laboratory investigations, ABG reports, ECGs, X-rays, and other diagnostic reports.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Coordinate with nursing staff, technicians, and other departments to ensure seamless patient care.
- Respond to Code Blue and other medical emergencies within the hospital.
- Communicate effectively with consultants and escalate critical situations promptly.
- Adhere to NABH standards, hospital policies, infection control protocols, and patient safety guidelines.
Eligibility
- MBBS from an NMC-recognized medical college.
- Valid registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or State Medical Council.
- candidates with atleast 3 years experience in ICU, experience will be preferred.
- Certification in BLS is mandatory; ACLS certification is preferred.

Duty Pattern
