The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily production operations in a food manufacturing facility. The role ensures production targets are achieved while maintaining high standards of food safety, product quality, hygiene, and operational efficiency. The Production Supervisor leads shop-floor teams, coordinates with other departments, and ensures compliance with company policies and food safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to achieve production targets.
- Ensure adherence to production schedules and minimize downtime.
- Monitor machine performance and coordinate with the maintenance team for timely repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP, FSSAI regulations, and hygiene protocols.
- Monitor product quality throughout the production process and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Allocate manpower efficiently and supervise production operators and workers.
- Conduct shift briefings and provide guidance and training to production staff.
- Maintain accurate production records, shift reports, and inventory consumption records.
- Monitor raw material usage and reduce wastage through effective production planning.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe, and organized production environment.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance, Warehouse, Maintenance, and Procurement teams for smooth production operations.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures and company policies.
- Investigate production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Pay: Up to ₹30,000.00 per month
