Position: Quantity Surveyor
Department: Construction / Project Management
Location: Payyannur, Kannur
Employment Type: Full-Time
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to manage project costs, prepare estimates, and ensure that construction works are completed within the approved budget. The candidate should have good knowledge of construction materials, quantity estimation, BOQ preparation, billing, and site coordination.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimates for construction projects.
- Prepare and verify BOQs (Bill of Quantities).
- Monitor project costs and control budget variations.
- Prepare client bills and subcontractor bills.
- Analyze drawings and specifications for quantity calculations.
- Coordinate with site engineers, architects, and contractors.
- Track material consumption and work progress.
- Prepare rate analysis and cost comparison statements.
- Ensure work measurements are accurate and properly documented.
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering / Quantity Surveying.
- Experience in quantity surveying and construction estimation.
- Knowledge of construction methods and materials.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software.
- Good communication and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills :
- Knowledge in residential and commercial building projects.
- Experience in billing and contract management.
- Familiarity with local construction standards and rates.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
