Job Description
The Professor will provide academic leadership in teaching, research, and institutional development in Biotechnology. The candidate is expected to contribute to undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs while establishing a strong externally funded research program and mentoring students and junior faculty.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. courses in the relevant specialization.
- Develop and revise curriculum in accordance with current advancements in biotechnology.
- Conduct high-quality research leading to publications in reputed peer-reviewed journals.
- Secure sponsored research projects and consultancy assignments from national and international funding agencies.
- Supervise M.Tech./M.Sc., Ph.D., and postdoctoral researchers.
- Establish and maintain advanced laboratory facilities.
- Guide students in dissertation, thesis, and research projects.
- Collaborate with academic institutions, research organizations, hospitals, and industry partners.
- Participate in accreditation, academic administration, examination, and institutional development activities.

- Strong publication record in SCI/SCIE-indexed journals.
- Proven ability to obtain externally funded research projects.
- Experience guiding Ph.D. scholars.
