Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing individualized occupational therapy treatment programs to help clients achieve maximum independence in activities of daily living (ADLs), sensory processing, fine motor skills, self-care, and functional performance.
This position is strictly for an Occupational Therapist (OT) and does not include responsibilities related to Psychology, Counseling, or other Mental Health roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Occupational Therapy assessments and evaluations to identify clients' functional needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals.
- Provide Occupational Therapy interventions to improve fine motor skills, gross motor coordination, sensory integration, visual-motor integration, self-care skills, and daily living activities.
- Monitor, document, and evaluate patient progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate and train parents, caregivers, and family members on home-based therapeutic strategies.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, treatment notes, progress reports, and patient records.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Adhere to ethical standards, professional guidelines, and organizational policies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution.
- Valid Occupational Therapist license/registration as required by local regulations.
- Strong knowledge of Occupational Therapy assessments, treatment planning, and intervention techniques.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in Pediatric Occupational Therapy is preferred.
- Knowledge of Sensory Integration Therapy, Activities of Daily Living (ADL) training, Fine Motor Development, and Developmental Assessments will be an advantage.
- Freshers with relevant clinical internship experience in Occupational Therapy may also apply.
