We are expanding the footprint of Knatra POS, a cutting-edge Point of Sale system and retail business management software designed to streamline billing, inventory, and customer management for pharmacy, cafe, hotels( with and without room bookings), Multispeciality Hospitals , clinics, retail stores, restaurants, and supermarkets. We are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated professional to drive merchant acquisition across Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities in India.
Job Summary
We are looking for a versatile Field Sales & Marketing Executive to market Knatra POS. This role is a hybrid of ground-level B2B fieldwork and localized digital lead generation. You will be responsible for identifying potential merchants, demonstrating the POS software, and closing sales through both in-person visits and digital outreach.
Key Responsibilities
- On-Ground Fieldwork: Conduct daily B2B field visits to retail outlets, supermarkets, restaurants, and apparel stores to pitch Kanatra POS.
- Product Demonstrations: Provide live, hands-on software demonstrations to store owners, highlighting features like billing, inventory tracking, and GST compliance.
- Digital Lead Generation: Run localized digital marketing campaigns via WhatsApp Business, social media, and Google Maps to identify and warm up leads before visiting them.
- Market Expansion: Drive sales volumes across assigned Tier 1 and Tier 2 city hubs.
- Relationship Management: Onboard merchants successfully and act as their primary point of contact during the initial setup.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Graduate in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field (High school graduates with stellar sales experience are welcome).
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in B2B Field Sales, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) sales, or merchant acquisition (experience selling credit card machines, QR codes, or retail software is a massive plus).
- Tech-Savvy: Strong understanding of how POS systems, mobile apps, and basic retail software operate.
- Digital Literacy: Proficiency in using social media, WhatsApp marketing, and CRM tools for lead tracking.
- Language: Fluency in English and Hindi. Knowledge of the local regional language of your target city is mandatory.
- Travel: Must own a two-wheeler and a valid driving license for fieldwork if needed.
