Key Responsibilities :
1. Content Planning & Conceptualization
- Develop creative concepts for short-form videos (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.).
- Align content with brand goals, campaigns, and target audience.
- Stay updated with social media trends, audio, and viral formats.
2. Video Shooting & Production
- Capture high-quality short-form videos using mobile or professional cameras.
- Plan shots, angles, lighting, and framing for engaging visual storytelling.
- Shoot content for events, promotions, behind-the-scenes, and lifestyle visuals (especially for hospitality/resorts).
3. Video Editing & Post-Production
- Edit videos with smooth transitions, effects, captions, and music synchronization.
- Ensure content is optimized for vertical formats and platform specifications.
- Maintain consistency in brand tone, color grading, and style.
4. Social Media Optimization
- Optimize reels with trending hashtags, captions, and hooks.
- Ensure content is engaging within the first few seconds to improve retention.
- Adapt content for multiple platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts).
5. Trend Analysis & Innovation
- Monitor trending reels, challenges, and competitor content.
- Experiment with new formats, storytelling styles, and editing techniques.
- Suggest innovative ideas to increase reach and engagement.
6. Collaboration & Coordination
- Work with marketing, sales, and creative teams for campaign-based content.
- Coordinate with influencers, models, and clients during shoots.
- Align with brand guidelines and promotional objectives.
7. Content Calendar Management
- Plan and execute reel shoots as per weekly/monthly content calendars.
- Ensure timely delivery of content for campaigns and promotions.
8. Performance Tracking
- Monitor engagement metrics such as views, likes, shares, and saves.
- Analyze performance to refine future content strategies.
- Optimize content based on audience behavior and insights.
9. Equipment & Asset Management
- Manage cameras, lighting, microphones, and editing tools/software.
- Maintain organized storage of raw and edited footage.
10. Brand Representation
- Capture content that reflects the brand identity, especially for resorts (luxury, experiences, ambiance).
- Ensure visual storytelling enhances brand positioning and audience appeal.
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in video editing tools (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.)
- Strong sense of storytelling, aesthetics, and timing
- Knowledge of social media algorithms and trends
- Basic photography and lighting skills
