Job Describtion:
- Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of pediatric patients, including medical histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations.
- Formulate accurate diagnoses and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Inpatient and Outpatient Care: Provide care to pediatric patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
- Emergency Response: Respond to pediatric emergencies, providing immediate and appropriate medical interventions.
- Collaborate with the emergency response team and other specialists during critical situations.
- Collaboration with Parents and Families: Communicate effectively with parents and families, providing information about diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive care.
- Support and involve families in the care decision-making process.
- Education and Training: Provide guidance and education to medical students, junior residents, and nursing staff on pediatric care principles and best practices.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in pediatric medicine through continuous learning.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and safety in pediatric care.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of pediatric care protocols.
- Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, ensuring compliance with hospital standards and regulatory requirements.
