ApkaMart is a fast-growing D2C brand bringing India's finest handicrafts and home decor to customers across marketplaces and our own Shopify storefront. We are a lean, ambitious team scaling hard — and our Co-founder needs a sharp right hand to keep pace.
This is not a scheduling-only role. You will work directly with the Co-founder on strategy execution, cross-functional coordination, vendor communications, and day-to-day business operations. WHAT YOU WILL OWN
- Calendar & priorities — Own the Co-founder's schedule, prep for meetings, track action items, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
- Vendor & partner comms — Draft and follow up on communications with logistics partners (Shiprocket, Eshopbox), platform teams, and vendors.
- Operations coordination — Track open tasks across fulfillment, inventory, and operations; flag delays; push things to closure.
- Reporting & dashboards — Compile weekly business summaries from EasyEcom, Shopify, and marketplace data; flag anomalies.
- Research & analysis — Ad-hoc research on competitors, platforms, vendors, or market trends as needed.
- Content & communication support — Help draft decks, proposals, SOPs, and internal documents.
- Project tracking — Maintain a live view of ongoing projects, deadlines, and dependencies across teams.
You are a Great Fit If You
- Write crisp, professional emails and documents in English
- Are obsessively organized — you do not need to be reminded twice [Must-have]
- Are comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets — data crunching, pivot tables, summaries [Must-have]
- Have worked in or are deeply curious about e-commerce, D2C, or retail operations [Strong plus]
- Know how to use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Notion AI) to work faster [Strong plus]
- Are proactive — you spot problems before being asked and bring solutions, not just status updates
- Can context-switch quickly between a shipping dispute, a vendor follow-up, and a deck review, all in one morning
- Keep sensitive business information strictly confidential
Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
