Job Description
· Manage, monitor, maintain, and control multiple MS SQL Server database instances.
· Provide operational support for production databases under strict SLAs.
· Perform routine DBA tasks and assist in database structure enhancements.
· Maintain multiple environments (development, staging, production).
· Conduct backups, replication, restoration, and log monitoring.
· Assist in performance monitoring and tuning.
· Support installation, configuration, and patching of database systems.
· Follow backup, archiving, and disaster recovery policies.
· Ensure SLA compliance and timely issue resolution.
· Perform database monitoring and troubleshooting.
· Use ticketing systems for incident management.
· Assist in database sizing, capacity planning, and tuning.
· Learn and apply performance analysis and optimization techniques.
Additional Expectations (ETL & ERP/BI Knowledge)
· Understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
· Familiarity with ETL tools like SSIS or similar platforms.
· Knowledge of data pipelines and data warehousing concepts.
· Exposure to ERP systems and enterprise data workflows.
· Experience or familiarity with BI tools like Power BI.
· Ability to support integration between ERP systems and reporting tools.
· Understanding of data quality and governance practices.
Qualifications
· Experience in high-pressure, 24/7 production environments.
· 4+ years of database administration experience.
· Working knowledge of Linux/Unix systems.
· Scripting skills in PL/SQL, Shell, or Python.
· Understanding of ETL processes and data integration.
· Exposure to ERP systems and BI tools preferred.
· Strong communication skills.
· Ability to work with globally distributed teams.
Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
