We are looking for a Techno-Commercial Solar Project Engineer to own the full technical and commercial cycle, from analysing tender requirements and designing solar PV systems through to building and validating the business case. This role sits at the intersection of engineering and commercial thinking, and plays a critical part in shaping both our bid quality and project outcomes. The ideal candidate brings deep solar domain expertise and the ability to translate technical design into a compelling, financially sound proposal.
-REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in solar EPC or solar project engineering roles; solar sector experience is a firm prerequisite. Experience in adjacent energy or infrastructure sectors will not be considered a substitute
- Prior experience on utility-scale or large C&I solar projects (5 MW+) in Maharashtra or nationally
- Familiarity with government solar tender processes, including eligibility criteria, technical and financial bid structuring, and portal submission (MSEDCL, MAHAPREIT, SECI, or equivalent DISCOMs)
- Strong understanding of solar PV system design, BoS components, DC/AC architecture, and EPC cost structures
- Demonstrated experience building techno-economic models and business cases for solar projects, including LCOE, IRR, and payback analysis
- Proficiency in PVsyst or Helioscope, strong Excel skills for financial modelling, BOQ development, and sensitivity analysis
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and single-line diagrams
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and stakeholder coordination skills
