We are looking for skilled and compassionate Phlebotomists to join our growing team. In this role, you will visit patients at their homes, collect blood samples safely and professionally, and ensure they are transported to our partner laboratories while maintaining the highest standards of quality and patient care.

Apenir Health is a Kochi-based health-tech company making healthcare more convenient through home blood sample collection, diagnostic bookings and technology-driven healthcare services.
We are looking for a skilled and responsible Phlebotomist to join our growing home sample collection team in Kochi.
Key Responsibilities
* Visit customers at their homes for blood sample collection.
* Perform venipuncture and other required sample collection procedures safely and professionally.
* Verify patient identity and booking details before collection.
* Follow proper patient identification, sample labeling and collection procedures.
* Handle, store and transport samples according to the requirements of the respective tests/laboratory.
* Maintain proper hygiene and infection-control practices.
* Ensure samples are handed over to the designated laboratory safely and within the required time.
* Maintain accurate collection records.
* Communicate professionally with customers and answer basic questions regarding the collection process.
* Handle children, elderly customers and patients with care and patience.
* Report difficult collections, incidents, sample issues or adverse events to the operations team.
* Follow Apenir’s SOPs and quality standards.
* Maintain confidentiality of customer and health information.
Requirements
* DMLT / B.Sc. MLT / relevant phlebotomy qualification preferred.
* Previous phlebotomy or laboratory experience is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of blood collection procedures.
* Good understanding of sample labeling, handling and transportation.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Professional and polite attitude.
* Ability to travel to customer locations across Kochi.
* Ability to work independently in a field-based environment.
* Willingness to work flexible hours depending on customer bookings.
Preferred Skills
* Experience in home blood sample collection.
* Experience handling elderly patients and children.
* Knowledge of different blood collection tubes and their appropriate use.
* Familiarity with laboratory sample transportation requirements.
* Basic smartphone skills for updating collection status and records.
* Two-wheeler and valid driving licence are an advantage.
