Job Title: Laundry Associate

Reporting To: House keeping supervisor
Job Purpose
The Laundry Associate is responsible for the efficient management of staff uniforms and operational linen, ensuring timely issuance, collection, washing coordination, and inventory control. The role supports uninterrupted hotel and club operations by maintaining adequate stocks of clean uniforms and linen.
Key ResponsibilitiesUniform Management
- Issue staff uniforms to employees as per the approved uniform allocation.
- Maintain records of uniform issuance, return, replacement, and stock.
- Ensure uniforms are clean, well-maintained, and available for all departments.
- Coordinate with HR and department heads for uniforms of new joiners and separating employees.
Linen Management
- Issue and receive Food & Beverage service linen, kitchen linen, housekeeping linen, and other operational linen.
- Maintain daily linen inventory and movement records.
- Monitor linen usage and report shortages or damages.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of all linen items.
Vendor Coordination
- Coordinate with the outsourced laundry vendor for the collection of soiled uniforms and linen.
- Verify quantities during handover and receipt.
- Inspect washed linen and uniforms for quality, cleanliness, and damages before accepting delivery.
- Follow up with the vendor to ensure timely turnaround and service quality.
Inventory & Documentation
- Maintain accurate registers for uniform and linen issuance, receipt, and stock.
- Conduct periodic stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
- Report damaged, lost, or condemned linen and uniforms to the Housekeeping Manager.
Hygiene & Compliance
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the uniform and linen room.
- Ensure proper segregation and storage of clean and soiled linen.
- Follow hygiene, safety, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Intermediate or Graduate in any discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in Laundry, Linen Room, Housekeeping Stores, or Uniform Room operations, preferably in hotels, resorts, clubs, or hospitality establishments.
Skills Required
- Knowledge of linen and uniform inventory management.
- Record keeping and documentation skills.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel preferred).
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Attention to detail and organizational ability.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
