Paradigm Consulting Services Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time remote Electrical BIM Technician / Revit Draftsperson to support a growing workload of commercial and government building projects within Australia.
This is a long-term remote position suited to someone who is reliable, responsive, detail-oriented, and experienced in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD for electrical building services documentation.
The successful candidate will work directly with the Director and project team to assist in the preparation and modification of electrical services drawings and BIM models across a range of projects.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation and modification of electrical services drawings using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD
- Electrical drafting including lighting, power, communications, CCTV, fire alarm and general services layouts
- Updating models and drawings based on engineering markups
- Sheet setup, annotation, schedules and documentation coordination
- Revit family usage and general BIM model management
- Maintaining drawing quality, consistency and company standards
- Communication and coordination via Microsoft Teams and Outlook
- Working within structured project workflows and task systems
Requirements:
- Strong Autodesk Revit experience (mandatory)
- Strong AutoCAD experience
- Experience with electrical building services projects
- Strong English communication skills
- Reliable internet connection and suitable computer hardware
- Ability to follow markups accurately and efficiently
- Ability to work consistently during agreed working hours
- Good attention to detail and organised workflow management
- Previous Australian project experience highly regarded
