Equity Research Associate — Full Time

About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytically driven Equity Research Associate to join our research desk. You will work closely with senior analysts to build financial models, track listed companies, and produce high-quality research content that supports client-facing investment recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Track quarterly results (QRs) and financial performance of assigned coverage companies across sectors
- Build and maintain financial models — revenue, margin, EPS estimates, and valuation (DCF, comparables, SOTP)
- Prepare equity research reports, sector notes, and company scorecards for internal and client use
- Monitor corporate actions, management commentary, earnings calls, and regulatory filings (BSE/NSE disclosures)
- Assist in preparing client-facing stock recommendations and portfolio review notes
- Create research-backed content for LinkedIn and other channels (report cards, infographics, post captions)
- Maintain and update internal stock trackers, watchlists, and alert summaries
- Support senior analysts with ad-hoc research, data gathering, and presentation decks
Requirements
- MBA/PGDM in Finance, or equivalent (CA/CFA candidates encouraged to apply)
- 0–2 years of experience in equity research, financial analysis, or a related field (freshers with strong fundamentals may apply)
- Strong grasp of financial statements, valuation methods, and Indian capital markets
- Proficiency in Excel (financial modeling, CAGR/XIRR, pivot tables) and familiarity with tools like Screener.in, TradingView, or Bloomberg
- Excellent written communication skills for report writing and content creation
- Working knowledge of NISM/NCFM certifications is a plus (or willingness to pursue them)
Good to Have
- Understanding of technical analysis / Smart Money Concepts (SMC)
- Experience with PowerPoint/Canva for research deck and infographic creation
- Prior internship or project work in equity research, investment banking, or portfolio management
