Role Overview
We are looking for a Social Media Marketing Intern who is creative, organized, detail-oriented, and eager to understand how a product-based lifestyle brand grows online.
This role is suitable for freshers, recent graduates, or students who are interested in social media marketing, Instagram content, reels, content planning, influencer marketing, brand communication, and digital marketing execution.
The intern will support day-to-day content execution, social media posting, content calendars, campaign coordination, influencer records, performance tracking, and engagement activities across digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
● Schedule and upload posts, reels, stories, shorts, and other content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other social platforms
● Assist in planning monthly social media content calendars for a lifestyle, ceramics, and home décor brand
● Write captions, hooks, hashtags, reel descriptions, story text, and basic marketing copy
● Support Instagram marketing, reel planning, story posting, engagement activities, and community updates
● Track Instagram Insights and monitor the performance of posts, reels, stories, campaigns, and content formats
● Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports using Excel or Google Sheets
● Analyze reach, engagement, saves, shares, profile visits, audience activity, and content performance
● Research Instagram trends, reel formats, competitor content, lifestyle brand ideas, and new social media concepts
● Support campaign execution for product launches, festive campaigns, sales, seasonal moments, brand collaborations, and influencer activities
● Coordinate with the creative/design team for content requirements, posting timelines, captions, and updates
● Help maintain influencer collaboration records, barter collaboration details, content deadlines, and follow-up sheets
● Ensure consistency in brand tone, product communication, captions, and visual direction
● Support basic community management, including checking comments, messages, engagement patterns, and audience responses
● Assist in digital marketing activities for a product-based D2C brand
● Help with content research related to ceramics, glassware, tableware, serveware, home décor, lifestyle, and gifting products
Skills & Requirements
● Strong interest in social media marketing, Instagram marketing, digital marketing, and content strategy
● Good understanding of Instagram, reels, stories, captions, hashtags, and social media trends
● Basic familiarity with Instagram Insights, Meta Business Suite, and social media analytics
● Ability to understand content performance metrics and reporting basics
● Good written English and communication skills
● Creative thinking with attention to detail
● Organized approach with the ability to follow timelines and meet deadlines
● Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
● Interest in lifestyle brands, home décor, ceramics, glassware, tableware, gifting, or product-based businesses
Preferred Qualifications
● Recently completed a degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Mass Communication, Media, Advertising, Business, or a related field
● Freshers looking for a social media marketing internship may apply
● Previous internship, college project, freelance work, or hands-on experience in social media marketing will be an added advantage
● Basic knowledge of Canva, Adobe tools, Meta Business Suite, Excel, Google Sheets, Instagram Insights, or content scheduling tools is preferred
● Interest in D2C brands, e-commerce, lifestyle products, home decor, ceramics, glassware, and content creation is a plus
