We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant / Account Executive to join our growing team in Mumbai.
Job Overview
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, GST and TDS compliance, reconciliations, payments, accounting entries, and financial records.
The ideal candidate should have strong accounting fundamentals, hands-on experience with Tally ERP and Advanced Excel, and a good understanding of GST and TDS compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations
- Handle GST return filing, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and related compliance
- Manage TDS working, deductions and filing
- Perform regular bank reconciliation and maintain accurate financial records
- Handle purchase and sales entries in Tally/ERP systems
- Manage vendor payments and customer collections
- Monitor payment gateways and related accounting entries
- Coordinate with CA, auditors and government departments for accounting and compliance matters
- Monitor inventory, cash flow and internal payments
- Maintain proper accounting records, supporting documents and reports
- Assist with audits, statutory compliance and other finance-related activities
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of accounting processes
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1–2+ years of relevant accounting experience
- B.Com or related qualification preferred
- CA background / experience working with a CA firm will be an added advantage
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes
- Hands-on experience with Tally ERP
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel / Advanced Excel
- VLOOKUP and HLOOKUP are mandatory
- Practical knowledge of GST and TDS
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounting activities
Preferred Candidate
- Candidates with hands-on experience in GST, TDS, Tally and Excel
- Candidates who can take ownership of day-to-day accounting activities
- Immediate joiners will be given first preference
- Candidates must be Mumbai-based
- Candidates should be comfortable commuting to Byculla West, Mumbai
