Job Description:
MCT India Infotech is looking for a Hexagon EAM Consultant to ensure the quality and reliability of EAM implementations. The candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting Hexagon EAM solutions for clients across industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and configure Hexagon EAM modules including Work Orders, Preventive Maintenance, Asset, Inventory and Purchasing.
- Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into Hexagon EAM functional and technical solutions.
- Configure and manage EAM configurations like screen setup, screen designer, dataspy configuration, workflows, UDS configuration, grids, mail notification, alerts, install parameters, user dashboard, user group configuration, user setup etc. Data uploads via standard import utilities.
- Develop and maintain Flex SQL and Extensibility Framework scripts.
- Develop and maintain custom reports using Hexagon EAM's built-in reporting tools (Cognos).
- Support end-to-end testing cycles including unit testing, UAT, and regression testing.
- Provide post-go-live support, troubleshoot issues, and work with Hexagon support teams on escalations.
- Prepare technical documentation including design documents, configuration guides, and user manuals.
- Develop and maintain integrations between Hexagon EAM and third-party systems (ERP, GIS, financial systems) using Web Services / REST APIs or middleware tools.
- Perform data migration activities including data mapping, cleansing, transformation, and validation using Hexagon EAM standard import utilities and ETL processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience with Hexagon EAM implementation and support.
- Hands-on experience with Hexagon EAM workflows, and screen configurations.
- Strong understanding of asset management, maintenance, Purchasing and inventory processes.
- Proficiency in SQL (Oracle or MS SQL Server) for queries, stored procedures, triggers, and data analysis.
- Experience with Hexagon EAM Web Services / REST APIs for integration development.
- Hands-on experience on writing Flex SQLs and Extensibility Framework scripts.
- Develop and maintain custom Cognos reports.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with ability to present solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
