What we need:
We are looking for an experienced Support Engineer to provide technical support for end-user devices, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure smooth IT operations. The candidate will act as the second level of support for IT Admin -related incidents and service requests.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide Level 2 technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, scanners, and other IT peripherals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and application-related issues.
- Configure, deploy, and support end-user devices for new hires, existing employees, and replacement systems.
- Escalate complex technical issues to Level 3 or Platform/Infrastructure teams when required.
- Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot Windows 10/11 and macOS devices.
- Install, configure, and support Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and Office Suite.
- Troubleshoot Outlook issues such as mailbox synchronization, profile corruption, connectivity, performance, and email configuration.
- Configure user profiles, email accounts, signatures, shared mailboxes, and calendar permissions.
- Manage operating system patches, updates, endpoint security, and compliance.
- Support device enrolment and management using Microsoft Intune, MDM, or equivalent endpoint management solutions.
- Support Microsoft Teams Rooms, video conferencing systems, cameras, microphones, speakers, and display devices.
- Ensure meeting room readiness and provide on-call support for executive meetings and critical business events.
- Diagnose and resolve LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and DNS connectivity issues.
- Perform basic network troubleshooting and assist with switch port configuration under guidance.
- Coordinate with Network teams for advanced troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Perform basic monitoring of Windows/Linux servers for health, disk space, services, event logs, and backup status.
- Monitor virtual machines in VMware or Hyper-V environments and perform basic operational tasks such as starting, stopping, or restarting VMs.
- Escalate infrastructure or server-related issues to the appropriate support teams.
- Maintain accurate inventory records for laptops, desktops, monitors, printers, accessories, and other IT assets.
- Track asset allocation, movement, repair, return, disposal, and lifecycle activities.
- Manage stock levels, hardware procurement coordination, and support periodic asset audits.
- Ensure compliance with organizational asset management policies and documentation standards.
- Actively champion and implement the organization’s policies on health & safety, environment, energy, quality, information security, and business continuity, ensuring adherence to incident reporting, legal, and regulatory requirements.

Preferred Certifications
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate.
- Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator (or equivalent).
- ITIL Foundation Certification.
- CompTIA A+.
- CompTIA Network+ (preferred).
- ITIL Foundation certification preferred
