JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and coordinate technology projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success. This role requires a keen understanding of technology solutions, budget management, and strategic planning to meet business objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan, execute, and oversee IT projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
- Collecting payment approval at the time of project release.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, risk assessment, and timelines.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, and business stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed to meet changing business needs.
- Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure smooth execution.
- Communicate project status, updates, and challenges to clients and senior management.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, security protocols, and best practices.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in IT project management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years of working experience as an IT Project Lead or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.).
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or MS Project.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification is a plus.
