We are a growing online dance academy looking for dedicated teaching assistants to support our expanding global student base. We provide interactive virtual classes to learners across multiple time zones who enjoy engaging dance sessions from the comfort of their homes. This role is ideal for someone passionate about Bollywood dance who wants to help guide students through structured online classes.
Role Overview
As a Teaching Assistant, you will help deliver interactive Bollywood classes in virtual formats. You will assist students in understanding choreography, maintaining rhythm, and building confidence. Your goal is to ensure classes run smoothly while supporting students at their individual learning pace.
Key Responsibilities
- Class Support: Assist lead instructors in conducting online Bollywood dance lessons.
- Student Guidance: Help students follow steps, timing, and choreography during live virtual classes.
- Adaptable Teaching: Adjust your support based on each student’s unique ability level and progress.
- Foster Positivity: Encourage a cheerful, supportive, and highly positive virtual learning environment.
- Constructive Feedback: Provide simple, encouraging guidance to help students improve their technique.
- Team Coordination: Work closely with the internal team to maintain exceptional class quality.
Requirements
- Expertise: Strong understanding and capability in various Bollywood dance styles.
- Experience: Prior experience teaching, assisting, or performing dance.
- Audience Management: Highly comfortable and patient when interacting with a diverse virtual classroom.
- Communication: Good verbal communication skills in English.
- Tech Setup (Must-Have): A reliable computer, a stable high-speed internet connection, and a clear audio/microphone setup.
Work Hours & Mode
- Schedule Flexibility: Flexible scheduling options available throughout the week.
- Workload: Average working hours are 4 to 5 hours per day based on batch allocation.
- Work Mode: 100% remote position.
