Handmade Café : Creative Community Space
We are looking for a creative and experienced Event Manager who can curate and execute unique community-driven events for our handmade café and creative space. The ideal candidate should understand the mood, aesthetics, and audience of artistic and cultural events and have prior experience managing events in Mumbai or Pune.
Role Overview
The Event Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing engaging events such as:
- Book Launches
- Art & Craft Workshops
- Drawing & Painting Sessions
- Ghazal Nights & Live Music Evenings
- Open Mic & Poetry Events
- Handmade & Artisan Pop-Ups
- Cultural and Community Gatherings
The candidate should be passionate about art, culture, creativity, and community experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute end-to-end events for the café/community space
- Coordinate with artists, musicians, authors, performers, and workshop hosts
- Create event concepts aligned with the brand vibe and audience
- Manage event calendars, budgets, vendors, and logistics
- Handle event promotions in coordination with the marketing/social media team
- Ensure smooth on-ground event execution and guest experience
- Build collaborations with local creative communities and artists
- Maintain event reports and performance feedback
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in event management, cultural events, café events, or creative community spaces
- Experience handling events in Mumbai or Pune preferred
- Strong understanding of art, music, literature, and creative culture
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to manage vendors, artists, and event timelines
- Creative mindset with attention to aesthetics and ambience
- Comfortable working on weekends or evening events when required
