Job Summary
Production Supervisor is responsible for daily production activities, manpower handling, fabrication supervision, quality coordination, and production planning in the manufacturing workshop. The candidate should ensure production targets, quality standards, and safety compliance are achieved.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Supervision
- Supervise daily fabrication and production activities
- Monitor fabrication of tanks, reactors, pressure vessels, piping, structures, and process equipment
- Ensure production work as per approved drawings and specifications
- Maintain production schedule and target completion
Manpower Handling
- Allocate work to fitters, welders, helpers, and operators
- Control manpower productivity and discipline
- Guide workers for proper fabrication practices
- Coordinate with contractors and shift workers
Quality Control Coordination
- Ensure material and fabrication quality during production
- Coordinate with QC department for inspection
- Check dimensions, welding quality, fit-up, and finishing
- Reduce rework and production errors
Planning & Coordination
- Coordinate with design, purchase, and store departments
- Arrange required raw materials and consumables
- Follow production priorities as per dispatch schedule
- Maintain job progress records
Safety & Housekeeping
- Ensure safety practices in workshop
- Monitor PPE usage by workers
- Maintain proper housekeeping and material handling
Documentation
- Maintain daily production reports
- Update work status and manpower records
- Prepare material usage and job completion reports
Required Skills
- Reading fabrication drawings
- Knowledge of welding and fabrication processes
- Basic understanding of MS, SS304, SS316 materials
- Manpower management
- Production planning and coordination
- Problem-solving ability
- Good communication skills

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
