About the Role
Ambica Dhatu Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Senior Electrician to lead and support electrical maintenance operations in our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate should possess extensive hands-on experience in industrial electrical systems, automation, PLCs, drives, motors, cranes, and welding machinery. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring uninterrupted plant operations through preventive and breakdown maintenance while maintaining safety and compliance standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesElectrical Maintenance
Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of plant electrical systems.
Troubleshoot and rectify electrical faults to minimize production downtime.
Maintain electrical panels, switchgears, transformers, and distribution systems.
PLC & Automation
Diagnose and troubleshoot PLC-based control systems.
Monitor and maintain automation systems for efficient plant operations.
Coordinate with vendors and automation engineers during system upgrades and modifications.
Drives & Motors
Installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of AC/DC drives and industrial motors.
Ensure proper alignment, testing, and performance optimization of motors and drives.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities.
EOT Cranes & Material Handling Equipment
Maintenance and troubleshooting of EOT cranes, hoists, and associated electrical systems.
Ensure safe and reliable operation of cranes through periodic inspections.
Butt Welding Machines
Maintenance and fault diagnosis of butt welding machines and related electrical circuits.
Coordinate repairs and calibrations to maintain welding quality and productivity.
Safety & Compliance
Ensure adherence to all electrical safety standards and company policies.
Maintain proper maintenance records, reports, and equipment history.
Participate in safety audits and implement corrective actions.
Team Coordination
Guide and mentor junior electricians and maintenance staff.
Coordinate with production, mechanical maintenance, and project teams for smooth operations.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of Industrial Electrical Maintenance.
Hands-on experience in PLC systems and industrial automation.
Expertise in AC/DC Drives and Industrial Motors.
Knowledge of EOT Crane Electrical Systems.
Experience with Butt Welding Machines.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of electrical safety standards and maintenance best practices.
Leadership and team management capabilities.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Diploma in Electrical Engineering .
B.Tech in Electrical Engineering will be an added advantage.
Minimum 20 years of experience in manufacturing, steel, metal, wire, cable, or heavy engineering industries.
Proven experience in handling critical plant maintenance activities independently.
