Job Summary
The Chief Technician is responsible for overseeing and performing complex body repair and restoration work, ensuring quality standards, productivity targets, and timely completion of vehicles. The role also involves guiding and supporting technicians to achieve operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and supervise body repair, denting, alignment, and restoration work.
- Diagnose repair requirements and provide technical guidance to technicians.
- Ensure repairs are completed as per Hyundai and dealership quality standards.
- Monitor job progress and ensure timely vehicle delivery.
- Support technicians in resolving technical issues and improving productivity.
- Maintain workplace safety, tools, and equipment.
- Coordinate with Service Advisors and Body Shop teams to ensure smooth workflow.
- Conduct quality checks before vehicle delivery.
Qualification
- ITI / Diploma in Automobile, Mechanical, or relevant technical field.
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in automobile body repair, with experience in a supervisory role preferred.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
