Junior Production Engineer

Innotec Power designs and manufactures permanent magnet motors, alternators, generators, and custom electrification systems for OEM customers around the world. Our products are used in construction equipment, agriculture, ground support equipment, marine, industrial, and specialty electric vehicles.
We are looking for a Junior Production Engineer who enjoys working on the production floor, solving problems, and making things better every day. This is a hands-on position where you will learn every aspect of manufacturing while working closely with experienced engineers and technicians.
Responsibilities
- Work on the production floor to ensure products are built safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
- Coordinate work between machining, winding, assembly, testing, quality, and stores.
- Track daily production and help remove bottlenecks.
- Assist in assembly of motors, generators, and alternators.
- Create and improve work instructions and manufacturing documentation.
- Support prototype builds and new product introductions.
- Work with Quality Engineers to resolve production issues.
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and cost.
- Help maintain inventory of production materials and components.
- Coordinate with purchasing to ensure parts are available for production.
- Assist with production planning and scheduling.
- Learn manufacturing processes including:
- CNC machining
- Motor winding
- Rotor balancing
- Electrical assembly
- Final testing
- Packaging and dispatch
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Production Engineering
- Industrial Engineering
- Mechatronics Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- 0–2 years of experience (Freshers are encouraged to apply.)
- Good mechanical aptitude.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Eagerness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
Preferred Skills
Experience with any of the following is a plus:
- AutoCAD or SolidWorks
- Excel
- ERP systems
- Lean Manufacturing
- 5S
- Kaizen
- Root Cause Analysis

Compensation
Probation (3–6 months):
₹2.4–4.2 LPA (based on qualifications and experience)
Performance-based salary reviews and rapid career growth are available for high performers.
I would also change the title from Junior Production Engineer to Production Engineer (Graduate Trainee). In India, this title tends to attract stronger candidates from engineering colleges while making it clear the role is entry-level. It also aligns well with the hands-on manufacturing responsibilities you're looking to fill.
Pay: ₹15,825.82 - ₹35,004.41 per month
