The Procurement Risk Analyst supports procurement and supply chain operations by identifying, analyzing, and mitigating supplier and supply chain risks to ensure business continuity and operational efficiency. This role executes procurement strategies aligned with material buying plans, with a focus on improving supplier performance, capacity readiness, and risk mitigation ahead of demand. The position requires strong analytical capabilities, supplier risk management expertise, data visualization skills, and stakeholder collaboration to provide actionable insights that support procurement decision-making and supply continuity. The analyst will also act as a data steward, ensuring data quality, governance, and consistency across procurement systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze supplier and supply chain data to identify risks, vulnerabilities, and potential business impacts, and provide actionable insights to procurement and business leaders.
- Coordinate with sourcing managers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to assess risks and develop mitigation and business continuity plans.
- Support supplier performance improvement initiatives while maintaining high-quality product and service delivery.
- Monitor supplier capacity, continuity of supply, reputational risks, and margin-related risks, and proactively implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and present recommendations for process improvements, risk reduction opportunities, and alternative courses of action to procurement leadership.
- Support procurement operations related to supplier onboarding, qualification, contract management, payment issues, and order fulfillment.
- Serve as the communication conduit between suppliers, sourcing teams, and manufacturing facilities during supplier issues or disruptions.
- Provide delivery and expediting support to plants/sites during supplier constraints or operational challenges.
- Support management and execution of engineering releases impacting suppliers.
- Collect, validate, and maintain supplier scorecard data and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Act as a Data Steward by ensuring data integrity, governance, quality, and consistency across procurement systems.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and automations using tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, Excel, and database systems to improve efficiency and visibility.
- Proactively monitor procurement systems, identify issues, and drive corrective actions to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Document and share best practices, lessons learned, and continuous improvement initiatives across procurement teams.
- Drive process automation and system enhancements to improve productivity and reduce manual effort.

Experience
- Minimum 5–6 years of experience in procurement, supply chain analytics, supplier management, or source-to-pay operations.
- Hands-on experience in procurement data analysis, business intelligence, and visualization tools.
- Experience in supplier risk management and business continuity planning.
- Exposure to end-to-end Source-to-Pay processes including supplier qualification, onboarding, contract management, and payment cycles.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in global or matrix organizations.
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments preferred.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or a related field.
- Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred, with specialization in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Operations.
- Additional certifications in Risk Management, Procurement, Project Management (PMP/Prince2), or Data Analytics are an advantage.
