Draftsman – Designing
Job Description
A Draftsman (Designing) is responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings, layouts, and plans based on specifications provided by architects, engineers, or project teams. The role involves using CAD software to create accurate drawings for construction and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and other design software.
- Develop architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing, and layout drawings as per project requirements.
- Modify and revise drawings based on client or engineer feedback.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, site teams, and project managers.
- Maintain drawing records and documentation properly.
- Ensure drawings comply with company standards and government regulations.
- Prepare BOQ support drawings and working drawings.
- Visit project sites whenever required for measurements and verification.
- Assist in project planning and design execution.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar drafting software.
- Good knowledge of construction drawings and detailing.
- Understanding of engineering and architectural standards.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work within deadlines.
Qualification
- Diploma / ITI / BE in Civil, Architecture, or relevant field.
- 2+ years of experience in drafting/designing preferred.

Salary Range
- Based on experience and project knowledge.
Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
