Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced VMC Setter with 2+ years of hands-on experience in setting and operating FANUC-controlled VMC machines.
Key Responsibilities
- Set and operate FANUC-controlled VMC machines.
- Perform tool setting, work offset setting, and tool offset adjustments.
- Load and unload components and ensure proper machine setup.
- Read and understand engineering drawings and machining instructions.
- Check component dimensions using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, and other measuring instruments.
- Monitor machining parameters and maintain required quality standards.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and make necessary offset corrections.
- Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining quality.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain machine cleanliness.
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as a VMC Setter.
- Hands-on experience with FANUC CNC controls.
- Good knowledge of tool setting and offset adjustments.
- Basic knowledge of G-code and M-code is preferred.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments.
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or related field preferred.
