About the Role
We’re looking for a Social Media Marketing Intern who enjoys understanding people, researching industries, and creating content strategies—not designing posts or editing videos.
Your primary responsibility will be to help our clients grow through better content planning, copywriting, audience research, and performance analysis while coordinating with our graphic designers and video editors.
If you’re someone who constantly observes why some content goes viral, enjoys writing, and wants to build brands through strategy, you’ll fit right in.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand the client’s business, products, and target audience.
- Research competitors and identify content opportunities.
- Brainstorm and develop content ideas aligned with business goals.
- Create monthly content calendars and posting plans.
- Suggest new content formats and campaign ideas.
Content Writing
- Write engaging captions for Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Develop hooks and CTAs that improve engagement.
- Adapt copy based on different platforms and audiences.
- Ensure every piece of content matches the client’s brand voice.
Content Coordination
- Prepare creative briefs for graphic designers and video editors.
- Coordinate with the creative team to ensure timely delivery.
- Review creatives before publishing and provide feedback where required.
- Maintain the content production pipeline and publishing schedule.
Publishing & Community Management
- Schedule and publish content across social media platforms.
- Ensure posts go live as planned.
- Assist with basic community engagement when required.
Analytics & Optimization
- Track content performance using platform analytics.
- Identify which content performs well and why.
- Recommend improvements based on engagement, reach, saves, shares, and audience insights.
- Continuously refine captions, posting strategy, and content direction using data.
Skills We’re Looking For
- Excellent written English.
- Strong research and analytical skills.

- Basic understanding of Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Good communication and project coordination skills.
- Highly organized with attention to detail.

- Familiarity with Notion or Google Sheets.
- Basic understanding of social media algorithms.
- Knowledge of AI tools like ChatGPT for research and content ideation.
Note: Graphic design, video editing, photography, and camera skills are not required for this role.

Preferred Qualifications
- Good written and spoken English.
- Kannada speaking is a strong plus, as many of our clients require content in Kannada and communicate primarily in Kannada.
- Good understanding of Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to think from the customer’s perspective and understand different target audiences (ICPs).
