At Rocket India, as a Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring organizational resilience by supporting the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Business Continuity Management (BCM) and Disaster Recovery (DR) programs. You will work with stakeholders across Operations, Technology, Risk, Compliance, and Business teams to minimize the impact of business disruptions, maintain operational continuity, and support recovery efforts within agreed service levels. About the Role

Develop, maintain, and continuously improve Business Continuity Plans (BCPs), Disaster Recovery Plans (DRPs), and related procedures across business functions.

Coordinate business continuity activities with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational resilience objectives and regulatory requirements.

Conduct Business Impact Analyses (BIA) to identify critical business functions, dependencies, recovery objectives, and potential disruption impacts.

Support the design, execution, and evaluation of business continuity and disaster recovery exercises, simulations, and testing activities.

Establish, maintain, and test emergency communication processes, including call trees and notification procedures.

Prepare comprehensive test reports covering objectives, planning, execution, outcomes, observations, recommendations, and corrective actions.

Monitor and support recovery activities during business disruption events, helping restore operations within defined recovery timeframes.

Collaborate with business leaders, technology teams, and risk management stakeholders to strengthen organizational preparedness and resilience.

Ensure compliance with internal governance standards, risk frameworks, and applicable regulatory requirements related to business continuity.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the Business Continuity Management System (BCMS).
About You
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Risk Management, Engineering, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Risk Management, Operational Resilience, or related functions.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience creating process documentation, recovery procedures, and test reports.

Experience coordinating cross-functional activities involving multiple stakeholders and business units.

Understanding of Business Continuity Planning (BCP), Disaster Recovery (DR), Business Impact Analysis (BIA), and emergency response processes.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess business risks and operational impacts.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and reporting tools.

Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting Business Continuity Management Systems (BCMS) aligned with industry standards such as ISO 22301.

Knowledge of risk management, operational resilience, crisis management, and incident response frameworks.

Experience developing and maintaining call trees, recovery playbooks, and emergency communication processes.

Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements related to business continuity and disaster recovery.

Professional certifications such as CBCP, ISO 22301 Lead Implementer/Auditor, DRII, or related certifications are an advantage.
