Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Recruitment Manager to lead high-volume hiring for labor roles in our cut-to-pack garment manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will specialize in sourcing, screening, and onboarding skilled and semi-skilled workers across various stages of garment production, ensuring timely fulfillment of manpower requirements while maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for labor roles including cutters, tailors, helpers, checkers, packers, pressmen, and finishing staff.
- Develop and implement effective bulk hiring strategies to meet production targets and seasonal demand spikes.
- Build and maintain strong talent pipelines through local networks, contractors, NGOs, and job portals.
- Coordinate mass hiring drives, walk-in interviews, and field recruitment campaigns in nearby regions and labor hubs.
- Partner with production and factory managers to understand manpower requirements and workforce planning.
- Ensure timely onboarding, documentation, and induction of new hires.
- Monitor attrition rates and implement retention-focused hiring practices.
- Maintain recruitment MIS reports, hiring trackers, and compliance documentation.
- Ensure all hiring practices comply with labor laws and company policies.
- Manage relationships with staffing agencies and labor contractors when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5–10 years of recruitment experience, preferably in garment manufacturing or labor-intensive industries.
- Proven experience in bulk hiring and blue-collar workforce recruitment.
- Strong understanding of garment production processes (cutting, stitching, finishing, packing).
- Excellent networking and field recruitment skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with local labor markets and sourcing channels.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the cut-to-pack garment segment.
- Knowledge of regional languages for effective communication with labor workforce.
- Experience handling recruitment for factories with 2000+ workforce.
