Product Category Manager – Lighting

We are looking for a Product Category Manager to manage and develop our lighting product portfolio. The role will work closely with Technical, Sales, Sourcing and Marketing teams to ensure every product is well documented, correctly positioned and effectively presented to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete lighting product category and product database.
- Maintain accurate product specifications, technical data, drawings, images, applications and certifications.
- Prepare and update datasheets, catalogues, product presentations and installation documents.
- Coordinate with suppliers, factories and technical teams for product information and new product development.
- Work with Marketing to provide the required images, specifications, applications and content for website, catalogues, social media and campaigns.
- Support Sales with product selection, technical information and application guidance.
- Coordinate new product launches, ensuring all technical and marketing material is ready.
- Research competitors, market trends and new lighting products to identify opportunities.
- Identify gaps in the product range and recommend new products or improvements.
- Ensure product information is consistent and updated across ERP, website and marketing platforms.
Requirements
- 3–7 years of experience in LED / Lighting / Electrical / Electronics industry preferred.
- Technical degree/diploma in Electrical, Electronics or related field preferred.
- Good understanding of LED and lighting products and their applications.
- Strong skills in Excel, product data management and documentation.
- Ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Experience with ERP, AutoCAD or Adobe tools is an advantage.
Ideal Candidate
Someone who combines technical understanding, product knowledge and strong coordination skills, and can take information from suppliers/factories and turn it into clear, complete product information for Sales and Marketing.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
