Job Summary
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for expanding the business of MACARE Diagnostics & Polyclinic by developing new customer and corporate relationships, promoting diagnostic and healthcare services, generating leads, coordinating health camps, and increasing patient footfall and revenue.
The role requires regular field visits, networking with doctors, hospitals, corporates, institutions, insurance/TPA representatives, residential communities and other potential referral sources.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business development strategies to increase patient referrals and revenue.
- Identify and generate new business opportunities through field visits, networking and referrals.
- Promote MACARE's Laboratory, Diagnostic, Health Check-up, CT, MRI, Polyclinic and other healthcare services.
- Focus particularly on promoting CT/MRI and other high-value diagnostic services.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with doctors, hospitals, clinics, corporates, institutions, insurance companies, TPAs and other referral partners.
- Conduct regular visits to doctors and referral centres and communicate available services, packages and offers.
- Identify corporate and institutional clients and develop corporate health-check-up opportunities.
- Coordinate and support medical camps, health screening programmes and promotional activities.
- Generate leads through field marketing, corporate visits, community activities, digital campaigns and other channels.
- Follow up with prospective customers and referral partners to convert leads into business.
- Maintain regular follow-up with existing clients and referral sources to ensure continued business relationships.
- Coordinate with the internal team for appointments, investigations, health packages, reports and customer requirements.
- Collect market feedback and competitor information and report the same to the Centre Head.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly activity reports, lead reports and business development reports.
- Monitor achievement against assigned targets and take corrective actions where required.
- Support promotional campaigns, health packages, seasonal offers and new service launches.
- Ensure professional representation of MACARE during external visits and business meetings.
- Handle customer enquiries professionally and ensure proper coordination until service completion.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, customer contacts, referral sources, meetings and conversions.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Monthly revenue generated through business development activities.
- Number of new corporate/institutional clients acquired.
- Number of new doctor/referral relationships developed.
- CT/MRI referral and revenue generation.
- Number of leads generated and converted.
- Health camps and corporate health-check-up programmes conducted.
- Patient footfall generated through marketing activities.
- Retention and repeat business from existing clients.
- Achievement of assigned monthly and annual targets.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate degree in any discipline; MBA/PG qualification in Marketing, Healthcare Management or Business Development is preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in healthcare, diagnostics, hospital marketing, medical sales or business development is preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong networking and relationship-building ability.
- Good negotiation, presentation and convincing skills.
- Ability to work independently and achieve targets.
- Willingness to travel and conduct regular field visits.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of the local market and healthcare network will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹11,587.04 - ₹40,957.42 per month
