A Staff Nurse is responsible for delivering quality nursing care to patients, supporting treatment plans, and ensuring patient comfort and safety. The role involves assessing patient needs, implementing nursing interventions, and collaborating with doctors and other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care according to established standards and procedures.
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions regularly.
- Assist in diagnostic tests and medical procedures.
- Maintain patient records and prepare nursing reports.
- Educate patients and caregivers regarding health management and recovery plans.
- Monitor medical equipment and ensure proper functioning.
- Follow hospital policies, safety guidelines, and infection control practices.
- Assist in emergency situations and provide immediate care when needed.
- Support patients emotionally and maintain patient confidentiality.
Requirements:
- Qualification: ANM/GNM/B.Sc Nursing.
- Valid nursing registration/license.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and nursing procedures.
- Ability to work shifts, including weekends.
- Good communication and patient-care skills.
