We are urgently hiring for QA Executive based in our Head Office (Mumbai -Kalbadevi).
Role Accountabilities:
· Conduct all knitted fabric inspections strictly per the American Four-Point System.
· Identify knitting-specific defects: dropped stitches, needle lines, holes, barre effect, spirality, fabric distortion, streaks, yarn contamination, looping faults, and tuck/miss stitches.
· Inspect construction parameters, check intra-roll and inter-roll shading variances.
· Apply appropriate inspection systems across woven, non-woven, printed, yarn-dyed, and technical fabric categories
· Ensure all returns and weight shortage matters are closed within one month, there should be no pending matters.
· Follow up for timely documentation - debit, credit notes, LR, etc,
· Ensure product tagging and labeling on all returns and ensure good condition in which the products are returned.
· Maintain accurate records of quality check and submit reports according to company standards to send to Factories.
· Coordinate with the factories for claims and ensure ledgers are periodically tallied, creditor & debtor side.
· Ensure no demurrage and detention for goods return is applied to the company.
· Conduct on-site quality audits at clients factory, mills, suppliers, dyeing units, printing houses, and processing facilities.
· Ensure all goods returns are properly graded and put back in our inventory.
Minimum Entry Qualifications
o Diploma or Degree in Textile Technology, Knitting Technology, or related field.
o ITI / Vocational training in Textile QC preferred.
o Certification in Fabric Inspection, AQL, or Quality Systems is an advantage.
Minimum Experience
3+ years’ experience in quality checks for knitted and woven fabrics
2+ years following the Four-Point System.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
