Kodee’s is an authentic, comfort-driven café focused on serving fresh, high-quality food in a warm and welcoming environment. We are looking for an experienced and passionate chef to lead our savoury kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take complete ownership of the savoury section of the kitchen.
- Prepare and maintain consistency in dishes including ramen bowls (veg & non-veg), sando sandwiches, fried avocado toast, cheese garlic bruschetta, cheese chilli sourdough, spaghetti, and other café dishes.
- Ensure excellent taste, presentation, and portion control.
- Maintain food quality and consistency during busy service hours.
- Manage mise en place, ingredient preparation, and kitchen organization.
- Monitor inventory, minimize wastage, and assist with ordering supplies.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness.
- Contribute ideas for menu development and seasonal specials.
- Work collaboratively with the bakery and service teams to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie, Line Cook, or Café Chef handling continental and café-style savoury dishes.
- Strong knowledge of sandwiches, pasta, breakfast items, and Asian-inspired dishes such as ramen.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Passion for food, creativity, and attention to detail.
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
