Job Summary
Lere Academy is looking for creative and skilled Freelance Video Editors to join our content team. If you have a passion for storytelling through video and can create engaging content for social media, YouTube, and digital marketing campaigns, we'd love to hear from you.
Preference will be given to candidates based in Kerala to ensure smooth communication and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit short-form and long-form videos for social media, YouTube, and promotional campaigns.
- Add transitions, motion graphics, subtitles, background music, and visual effects where required.
- Ensure videos align with the brand's style and quality standards.
- Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to deliver engaging content.
- Meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality output.
- Organize and manage video files efficiently.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in video editing.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software.
- Experience creating content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and other digital platforms.
- Strong understanding of video pacing, storytelling, color correction, and audio editing.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- A strong portfolio/showreel showcasing previous work is mandatory.
- Candidates residing in Kerala are preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Motion graphics and animation experience.
- Basic knowledge of graphic design and social media trends.
- Creative mindset with excellent attention to detail.
