We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee and manage end-to-end export and import operations. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in international logistics, customs documentation, freight management, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective movement of goods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end export and import logistics operations.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs agents, and transport vendors.
- Manage EPCG (Export Promotion Capital Goods) and Advance Authorization (Advance License) schemes.
- Ensure timely customs clearance and compliance with trade regulations.
- Prepare and verify all export/import documentation.
- Monitor shipment schedules and resolve operational issues.
- Negotiate freight rates and optimize logistics costs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth dispatch and delivery.
- Maintain logistics records, reports, and performance metrics.
- Ensure adherence to DGFT, Customs, and other statutory requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement in logistics processes and efficiency.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, Commerce, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Export and Import Logistics.
- Strong understanding of customs clearance procedures, international shipping documentation, Incoterms, and foreign trade regulations.
- Experience in dealing with freight forwarders, CHA (Custom House Agents), and transport vendors.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
- Excellent coordination, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of DGFT regulations, duty drawback procedures, and Letter of Credit (LC) documentation.
- Hands-on experience in GST compliance, and RoDTEP (Remission of Duties and Taxes on Exported Products) refund processes.
- Strong understanding of BRC (Bank Realisation Certificate) documentation and related export procedures.
- Experience in preparing refund reports and maintaining supporting documentation.
- Knowledge of EODC (Export Obligation Discharge Certificate) documentation and submission processes.
