Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Design Head to lead the design and development function for High Pressure Die Casting operations. The candidate will be responsible for managing the design team, overseeing tooling and product development, and ensuring timely delivery of customer projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the complete design department and manage a team of engineers.
- Review and approve product and die designs.
- Coordinate with customers to understand project requirements.
- Ensure timely execution of design and development activities.
- Drive design optimization and cost reduction initiatives.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and project teams.
- Implement best design practices and standards.
- Mentor and develop design team members.
- Handle technical discussions with customers and suppliers.
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in HPDC product and die design.
- Experience in CAD software such as NX, SolidWorks, or Creo.
- Team management and leadership experience.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and tooling.
- Project management and customer handling skills.
Qualification
- BE/B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
