Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Heat Treatment Production

Job Summary
The Electrical Maintenance Engineer is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems and equipment in the heat treatment production facility. The role involves preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, and ensuring minimal downtime of furnaces and associated equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems in heat treatment furnaces.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults in PLC panels, control panels, sensors, and instrumentation.
- Ensure continuous operation of production equipment with minimal downtime.
- Heat Treatment Equipment Maintenance
- Maintain electrical components of heat treatment furnaces, quenching systems, and temperature control systems.
- Monitor thermocouples, temperature controllers, and furnace control panels.
- Preventive Maintenance
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for electrical equipment.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities and breakdown analysis.
- PLC & Automation
- Troubleshoot PLC-based systems and automation equipment.
- Coordinate with automation engineers for system improvements.
- Safety & Compliance
- Ensure electrical safety standards are followed.
- Comply with statutory and company safety regulations.
- Documentation
- Maintain electrical drawings, manuals, and maintenance logs.
- Prepare reports on equipment performance and maintenance activities.
- Coordination
- Work closely with production, mechanical maintenance, and quality teams.
- Support installation and commissioning of new equipment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering
Experience
- 3 – 6 years experience in electrical maintenance in Heat Treatment / Steel / Forging / Manufacturing industries.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of Industrial electrical systems
- Experience in heat treatment furnace maintenance
- Knowledge of PLC, VFD, Sensors, and Instrumentation
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance systems
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Induction / Bogie / Continuous furnaces
- Familiarity with SCADA systems
- Knowledge of energy management
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
